Public beta version — pending legal review

This page describes how the site works today. It has not yet been reviewed by an attorney and may change; the date above will be updated when it does.

Summary

  • You can use the assessment and tools without giving us any personal information.
  • We store your assessment answers only if you choose to save a private report.
  • We store contact details only when you submit a contact or vendor request, with separate permissions for each purpose.
  • We never sell personal information. We share it with a vendor only with your explicit, vendor-specific permission and only under an approved partner agreement.

Data we collect

  • Usage analytics (first-party): pages viewed, tool usage and anonymous funnel events with a random identifier cookie. No names, emails or phone numbers are included.
  • Attribution: campaign parameters (UTM) and referring site, stored in a cookie for 90 days.
  • Saved reports (optional): your business-profile answers and results, behind a private link that expires after 90 days. You can delete a report at any time from its page.
  • Contact and vendor requests (optional): name, company, business email, optional phone, team size, timeline, and the permissions you granted.
  • Device storage: your diagnostic answers are kept in your browser's local storage so you can resume or reopen your last results, until you choose “Start over” or clear your browser data. They are sent to our server only to calculate your results and are not stored there unless you choose to save a report.

Your permissions are separate

Saving a report, being contacted by us, sharing your details with a specific vendor and receiving marketing emails are four separate choices. None is bundled with another.

Retention

Private reports: 90 days. Analytics events: about 13 months. Lead records: up to 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your choices

Security

Private report links use long random tokens; we store only a one-way hash of each token. Reports are excluded from search engines. Administrative access requires authentication and is logged.

US state privacy laws

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, through the contact form (topic: privacy request). We do not sell personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising. State-specific details will be added after legal review.
